IT Field Service Technician II
Under the direction of the Manager of IT Field Services, the IT Field Service Technician II will independently perform all aspects of field support including: installation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of PCs and mechanical equipment in their assigned region. This individual will interact with people and develop long term relationships with their customers. The IT Field Service Technician II will be the first line of contact with the end users in the field.


- Perform on-site servicing, repair and/or installation of hardware and software throughout assigned region.
- Assist customers to diagnose problems and provide resolutions for technical and service issues including end-user local-area network access problems, e-mail, Internet, and network or local printer problems.
- Provide one-on-one end-user problem resolution with remote desktop tools, telephone, and in-person.
- Diagnose and resolve desktop and laptop hardware issues.
- Under minimal supervision, install new IT and related equipment for new offices.
- Help coordinate timely support and repair on various IT equipment covered by third-party vendor maintenance agreements.
- Manage help tickets assigned, ensuring maximum issue resolution in minimum time with the end user the main focus.
- Perform multiple, technical tasks with a need to routinely upgrade skills to meet changing job conditions.
- Other duties as assigned by Management.


- Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
- 5 years' experience in an IT environment with excellent troubleshooting skills and networking software and hardware problems.
- Hands-on experience working with PC hardware and software.
- Knowledge of Windows 10, 8, 7, Windows Servers, Microsoft Office, and theories of network systems.
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Equivalent to high school diploma or general education degree (GED) with at least two-year college level course work.
- Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and customer service skills.Desired:- MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional), A+, or Network + Certification.
- 3-4 years of experience providing end-user phone or hands on support.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in related field.
